You have twitter under control. Groovy. Feel free to use your existing account for Ontario Extend.

If has been a while since you tweeted, you may want to review and update your profile settings.

We are also suggesting using the #oextend hashtag in project related tweets viewable via search or this link. Also please follow our project account  @OntarioExtend.

In our account we are assembling a list of people involved in the project, a good place to start choosing colleagues to follow: https://twitter.com/ontarioextend/lists/extenders/members. If you’re not on the list and would like to be, tweet “whoever is running this account, get off the couch and add me to the Extender list!” to @ontarioextend. That should do it.

If you are not using it already, we suggest Tweetdeck as a more filtered approach to following our activity– you could add a column for #oextend tweets.

Be on the look out to welcome new twitter users. Help them get rid of the default avatar and suggest other ways to orient them. Offer them your sage wit and wisdom. Remember how it was to be brand new to twitter!

I got my twitter on, what’s next?
